Welcome and thank you for stepping into Heatley State Primary School's website. While the saying is, "you don't judge a book by its cover", we know an increasing number of people do check out schools this way to start with. So please have a good look around! I have been working in state schools along the Queensland coast since 1983 and I came to Townsville in 1990. I was appointed as Principal to Heatley SS in 2005. Since then, with an excellent team of staff and the full support of the school community, we have begun to transform all aspects of the school. We have made great progress. Please read our Annual School Report to find out more about this work.
