YWAM medical ships

13/06/2018

The MV YWAM PNG is Townsville's medical and training ship that provides healthcare in rural and remote villages in Papua New Guinea. The ship is back in Townsville in June and July for maintenance and re-stocking.

In term 1, families at Heatley State School collected 103 toothpaste tubes, 2018 toothbrushes and 411 bars of soap to assist in stocking the YWAM medical ship.

YWAM Medical Ships is partnering with Woolworths in Townsville for the month of June to collect soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to take to Papua New Guinea.

With your help, YWAM Medical Ships is hoping to reach the following goals:
- 8,500 bars of soap
- 7,000 toothbrushes
- 7,000 tubes of toothpaste.

If you would like to contribute toward the goal, drop off your collection at your local Woolies between June 15th - July 20th.
