A 2017 booklist is available below for each Year level. Parents are expected to purchase all items mentioned on the list and should ensure that items are replaced during the year as required.

During Term 3 2016, the school’s Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association approved the introduction of a general Student Resource Scheme (SRS) effective for the 2017 school year. Almost all State Schools have a scheme of this nature in place. The levy has been set by the school and endorsed by the P&C at a very modest rate compared with other schools. You are invited to join the Student Resource Scheme for 2017. The scheme operates under the policy of the Department of Education and Training
Student Resource Scheme (version 3.5 effective 4/11/2016) and in accordance with section 51, pp.37-38 of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006.

This scheme is voluntary and you are under no obligation to join. However, please be aware that materials and consumables required under this scheme are not funded by school grants and are provided on a user-pays basis. Therefore if you do not wish to join the scheme, you will be responsible for providing your child with the items listed below, to enable your child to engage with the curriculum.

The provision of this scheme ensures that well-resourced learning by our students remains our key focus.  This scheme is not a fundraiser.  Its purpose is to provide you, the parent, with a cost effective, value for money alternative to additional booklist items with the benefit of reduced prices gained from the school’s bulk purchasing and discount procurement processes. Items provided by the 2017 SRS are as follows:

Art supplies (e.g. paint, PVA glue, craft card/papers) – year level specific

Reproduced class workbooks, worksheets and teacher-prepared material which complement and/or substitute for textbooks in key learning areas

  A3/A4 paper

The cost to join the 2017 Heatley SS SRS is $25.00 per student.
