2024 booklists are now available on our website - all year levels are on a single page. Print copies were sent home last year with semester 2 reports.
If your family will not be attending Heatley SS in 2024, please email principal@heatleyss.eq.edu.au to let us know.
Our school office is open this week from 9am-3pm.
If you know of families with students planning to enrol in all year levels from Prep to 6, please encourage them to contact us as soon as possible to complete enrolment processes.
The first day of school for all year levels at Heatley SS in 2024 is Monday 22 January.
Book drop-off - Thursday 18 Jan 2-3pm
To ease the stress of the first day of school, families are welcome to come into school on Thursday 18 January 2024 from 2pm to 3pm to find classrooms and meet teachers, drop books off etc.
Parents are asked to enter the school via the Fulham Rd gate (No. 3) [the gate on Fulham Rd nearest to the pedestrian crossing and from there go to the Large Covered Area (near the tuckshop). Staff will then direct you to classrooms.
As with every year, no class grouping is set until after Day 8 when classes may change due to varying enrolment numbers and the resulting staffing allocation from the department.
Tuckshop
2024 menu is now available on our website. Tuckshop will be open for hats and food orders on Monday 22 January (full menu will not be available until later in the week) - please check Flexischools for available options. Volunteers are needed - please contact Lisa in the tuckshop.
OSHC
Heatley SS has a new Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provider. If you will be accessing the OSHC service provided by Camp Australia - please ensure that you download the Camp Australia app, register and book in to before and after school care 2024 (bookings open now). Camp Australia will operate out of J block - please enter via Gate 8, Fitzroy Street.
