Cybersafety or esafety refers to online behaviour that is safe, appropriate and responsible. In order for students to be safe online, parents and school staff need to promote the same messages.
Students are taught how to:
- use technology appropriately and responsibly
- behave in ways to enhance their own safety.
Students should always remember: when online never give away personal information such as home address, phone number, email address and passwords. Treat strangers the same way online as you would in the real world. When playing games, play it safe and play it fair!
