Heatley State School is a uniform school. Our
Student Dress Code 2025-2028 which has the full support and endorsement of the Heatley SS P&C Association and our school community.
Children are expected to wear the full school uniform, including the correct school shorts. Please only wear navy/black shorts to school and keep denim shorts, board shorts and basketball shorts for the weekend.
A broad brimmed hat and closed in shoes are compulsory for playing outside. Maintaining high standards of presentation helps foster pride in our school and reinforces our expectations for positive behaviour.
Uniforms can be purchased from the following local suppliers who have entered into formal licencing agreements with our school:
Lowes at Stockland, Ross River Road, Aitkenvale - free embroidery of initials HSS on shorts, skorts and skirts (items also available
online)
Alternatively - navy shorts, skorts and skirts can also be purchased from other suppliers (it is not compulsory to purchase these items with HSS embroidered on them)
School bucket hats can be purchased from the tuckshop - either at the counter or by Flexischools order $13.00 (as of 30 September 2024)
All students must wear the approved school hat or a similar bucket hat. Peak caps are not permitted and all students will be required to wear bucket hats if they want to play outside. No hat, no play!
Senior shirts are ordered by the school as a bulk order - parents will be given opportunities to place an order in late term 4 (when students are in year 5) and early in the year (when students are in year 6).
