Absences

Being at school every day counts. If your child is absent one day per week, this quickly adds up to two months of missed school in a year.

We are lucky enough to partner with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys and their sponsors in the #Tryfor5 program​. The #Tryfor5 program is an inter-school challenge​ designed to ​​promote attendance at school for 5 days each week. 

Each term, weekly prizes are provided for the class/es with the best attendance and major prizes are provided for end of term draws. 

Please contact our school so absences can be explained, there are a number of ways to communicate absences:
