Our Student Resource Scheme is endorsed by the P&C Association and supports your child’s learning. Each student enrolled at Heatley State School is asked to pay $32.00 to join the Student Resource Scheme each year. This scheme is designed to offset the cost to you of providing the resources needed for your child’s education.
If you have signed the SRS Participation Agreement previousy an invoice will be emailed to you early in the new year as you no longer have to complete a new form every year. You can change the agreement at any time by advising our school office.
The school office will open in the week before students start for payment of the SRS, payment plans can be negotiated with the Business Manager. Please confirm dates on our website calendar or Facebook page.
An SRS Participation Agreement will be sent home with the booklist in Week 10 for those families who have not completed one.
New enrolments will be asked to sign the SRS Participation Agreement at interview and will be given 10 days to pay if agreeing to the SRS. EFTPOS is available.
The provision of this scheme ensures that well-resourced learning by our students remains our key focus. This scheme is not a fundraiser. Its purpose is to provide you, the parent, with a cost effective, value for money alternative to additional booklist items with the benefit of reduced prices gained from the school’s bulk purchasing and discount procurement processes. Items provided by Heatley State School's SRS are as follows:
Art supplies (e.g. paint, PVA glue, craft card/papers) – year level specific |
Reproduced class workbooks, worksheets and teacher-prepared material which complement and/or substitute for textbooks in key learning areas |
A3/A4 paper |
Graph books |
Supplementary glue sticks
|
Maintaining dictionaries and atlases purchased by the school
