Heatley State School is a proud partner school in the North Queensland Cowboys Adopt-a-School Program. Since 2023 our Adopt-a-Cowboy is Griffin Neame.
We are pleased to welcome Griffin back to Heatley State School as he worked here as a teacher aide in 2019-2020.

On Saturday 16 May 2026 Griffin played his 100th Club & NRL game - Heatley SS are proud to have been a part of Griffin's NRL journey from the beginning.
From 2020-2022 our Adopt-a-Cowboy was Ben Condon. Ben also worked as a teacher aide at Heatley in 2018-2019. Ben now plays for the Manly-Warringah Sea-Eagles.
Matt Scott was our Adopt-a-Cowboy from 2011 - 2019.
