Heatley State School are proud to partner with local universities - JCU and CQU - to provide professional experience opportunities for pre-service teachers.
Pre-service teachers complete professional experience in the first, second, third and final years of their teaching degree. We also host post-graduate pre-service teachers who may be completing a Master of Teaching & Learning.
Our pre-service teachers are learning to teach and the best way to do that is in a classroom.
